Opensource

The term 'opensource' is very famous. Most people use opensource stuff without even knowing what opensource actually is! Opensource does not just mean softwares. It has begun to denote so many different stuff. An opensource software is not owned by anyone. The success of the opensource movement is that on one can claim ownership to the software. A software is created with the help from contributions from thousands of programmers across the globe. A complete software is designed using contributions from so many people. So no single person can claim ownership. The opensource software is copyrighted so that it can be shared by every one and that enhancements can be made to the already existing software!
