There are various types of genetic abnormalities. In that, haemophilia is some kind of genetic disorder in which patient will suffer severe bleeding when subjected to injuries. Actually it is due to absence of clotting cells in the blood. Bleeding in the brain can lead to death. In India about a lakh people are suffering from haemophilia.Each and every year 1300 new patients are getting added to the list. The disease is controllable if we use some better diagnosis methods for identification of the disease. The treatment may cost up to Rs 15000 per month for severely affected people but it will cost only Rs 5000 per month for less severe condition.
