Examinations!!!
Not just out of frustration or the anxiety of today’s exam I am writing. This is one thought that has been in my mind for a long long time. Why do we have exams? Do they really serve the purpose they are conducted for or at least thought to be conducted for? The general opinion about exams is that they are conducted to test the knowledge of students in a particular subject and the how well they have understood the subject. And most people believe that exams actually test that. Well, am ready to debate with all those people that exams actually don’t test the understanding of the students. If the students are told that the exam will consist of questions based on the content of a particular text book, then they really don’t have to understand the subject. All they got to do is to spend some time with the book. This time may vary from 3 hours to 10 hours based on the size of the book and the grasping power of the student. So what we test using exams is the ability of the students to mug the subject up and to vomit it in the exam! Let’s change this system and adopt the practical system of learning and testing!

Torture!
Torture is one of the most inhuman actions. It dehumanizes both the victim as well as the perpetrator. The pain and the terror that are inflicted by one human on his fellow human leave permanent scars. It leads to shattered bones, twisted limbs and recurring nightmares for the victim. This keeps happiness at bay for the victim and he remains to be in a state of permanent fear. Not just the physical pain, but the trauma is unbearable. Just as told before the nightmares about the torture keep coming again and again. This makes those people lose hold of their life. Physical torture was the most prominent way for the whites to exercise their superiority over their slaves during the times of Slavery. Now that those times are gone, torture seems to have gone. But that is not true. In most middle class countries of South Asia, which includes India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, torture is still done by the bosses to their subordinates. For all those who do not know, Prohibition of torture is a one of the most basic rules of democratic laws. For, torture weakens the values and solidarity of the society. And these values are those which hold the society together!

yes we can
Abraham Lincoln said “determine that things can be done and will be done and you can find a way”
The most important thing is to acknowledge the fact that things are tough. It’s a hard mountain to climb. We should always appreciate a situation and give it the effort and all things become easy. It’s a strange world out there. Just say out a thing loud, just think it’s possible and the whole universe will conspire to help you.
Barrack Obama, the dark knight says “YES WE CAN”, of course we can. He knows it. We know it. USA is the country where dreams are born and achieved. It’s the land of opportunities .It’s wonderland for all those immigrants looking for sunshine. We should pave the way for a new world order. An order in which we are, we are just not only superpowers but also have set an example for way life is to be lived. It’s always the bigger brother who’s a model for the younger one.
We need to adapt our policies into a mission mode. We have to dream big and make sure our resources are fully utilized.

Abtract windowing toolkit info
Java supports GUI development through the Abstract Windowing Toolkit, or AWT. It includes support for simple graphics programming as well as a number of preconstructed components such as button, menu, list, and checkbox classes. We need to include java.awt for using its functions. The three steps common to all Java GUI applications are: Creation of a container and controls, Layout of GUI component, Handling of events. Containers are used to contain the other controls and components within itself. Window container has two types Frame, Dialog. Frame is used to create a window for your application using Frame class. To simply add controls for an application, we need to follow the steps. Create Frame, Create Controls, Add Controls to Frame, Show Frame. In Case of your application, the user must create an instance of Frame. But in case of your applet we need not, because, a frame (the browser window) already exists. So Simply use the add function for adding the controls to the window.
