Corporate Social Responsibility!

Corporate Social Responsibility(aka CSR) has blossomed in the recent past. Though it is still not accepted as a practical program, it certainly has made its impact.It is not seen as a program in a corporate company,but it is seen as a 'Service to the Community'! That's the speciality of CSR. It's not ideology of just people who are involved in the corporate sector, but also a service to the community.Nowadays, most multinational companies have a senior executive, mostly with a subordinate, explicitly charged with with developing and co-ordinating the CSR function. In a few cases, these executives have been recruited from NGOs. There are executive education programs too in CSR.
